KKCenterHK Sticker For Fingers Toes

Wednesday, August 31, 2011
Hi,

KKCenterHK sent me the Sticker For Fingers Toes nail patch- No.117 16 Pieces Sticker For Fingers Toes for review. These are stick on nail art stickers which you can stick on your nail toes and you are done. Take a look.

Yes, I know I have chubby toes. My camera only made them look fatter. :-P

I have been wearing these for past 3 days now. So its the time for review.

The Good about these Nail Stickers

  • Very easy to use - Just peel off the stickers from the adhesive paper, trim according to your nail shape and stick on.
  • Huge variety of stickers available. The number of prints/designs available with KKCenterHK is huge. The designs vary from neat and subtle stickers to very bright and colourful ones. So, there’s one, rather may for every one.check out the designs here and here
  • The stickers are quite big in size. You can easily trim these stickers according to your nail shape and sizes. if you look at the picture above, I have used only one sticker for my entire foot. Nice, isn't it ?
  • Takes very less time to stick but the time required to trim them according to your nails is much more.

The Not so Good about these Nail Stickers

  • Trimming the stickers according to contours of nail is a bit difficult. One tiny wrong cut and the shape of the sticker may get distorted.
  • The staying power is average. The stickers start to peel within 2 days.
  • Can be purchased only online at KKCenterHK
Take care till we meet again!

Liz Earle Foot Scrub - Review

    Monday, August 29, 2011

    Hi Girls,
How have you been? Ever wanted to flaunt that oh-so-pretty pink and red nail paint on your toe nails but changed your mind when you looked at your feet ? Did they look tired and worn out, not to forget calloused and tanned. If your answer is yes, here’s the solution. Presenting the Liz Earle Foot Scrub, the one stop solution to all your pedicure needs. Rather I would say its a DIY pedicure in a tube. Yes, you don’t need any buffers, pumice, foot soak etc etc..All you need is this. Oh, and did I mention it has a wonderful peppermint fragrance, which smells so divine. Read On.....

    Ingredients

    Swatch

What Liz Earle Foot Scrub claims:
This hard-working scrub gently exfoliates hard, rough skin on heels and soles, leaving feet ultra-soft and buffed to perfection. Naturally active ingredients include natural pumice to remove dead skin cells, softening avocado and wheatgerm oils rich in vitamin E, and the invigorating aromas of peppermint and rosemary essential oils leave feet smelling sweet.

    How to use:
Massage onto damp skin. Rinse well. For a pedicure-perfect feet, follow with Liz Earle Foot Repair Moisturiser.

What I liked about Liz Earle Foot Scrub
    • The scrubbing action is really really good, because the granules are very dense and the scrub itself is very thick in texture. Makes it a great scrubby scrub. The pumice granules make the scrubbing action all the more better. I think it would make a great scrub for exfoliating elbows too.
    • The fragrance is quite strong and smells heady of peppermint. But since its a foot scrub, you don’t have to worry about the fragrance. It smells exactly like the wringley’s spearmint gum J (Which I love).
    • Does’nt dry out feet after exfoliating/scrubbing. I am good to go after use.
    • Removes, tan, dry and dead skin. Leaves feet looking fresh like I just had a pedicure.
    • Comes in tube packaging which is quite hygienic and travel friendly. You can take this along on a holiday to the beach.
    • It works great if you soak your feet in warm water for just a few minutes. Leaves feet squeaky clean and freshly pedicured.
    • Perfect recipe for Happy Feet.
What I did not like about the Liz Earle Foot Scrub
    • The price is a bit on the higher side.
    • Can be purchased only through online at uk.lizearle.com.
    • No other cons that I can think of.

What Nature's Co. claims about its Lemon Peel Exfoliating Body Wash

Kiwi seeds & Walnut grits gently exfoliate the skin leaving it smooth & renewed. In the shower or bath, spread the scrub over your entire body. Rub it in to exfoliate & then rinse well. It will leave you feeling smooth all over.

Maybelline Lip Smooth - Color and Care - Review

    Tuesday, August 16, 2011
    Hi Everyone,

Hope you all are doing great.

I am quite a lip products lover and most of the time, I end up purchasing a lipstick or a lip balm every time I cross a makeup shop. Seems like I am dragged inside by some invisible force. :-P So,  to refrain myself from such impulsive buying, I decided to buy a new lip product only when I finish one which I was using. Too much of effort, I tell you. I end up using the product so much more in a hurry to finish it off..? Do you ever do the same.??

So, after my Nivea Fruity Shine Pomegranate Lipbalm got over after the above efforts, I wanted to try something new. I got myself Maybelline Lip Smooth - Color and Care in Rose Red.

So here's my Take on it.

What I loved about Maybelline Lip Smooth and Care

    • Decent Moisturization - I have normal lips, i.e. they are not very dry. It gives me a good amount of miniaturisation. I feel the need to apply it 3-4 times.
    • Makes lips soft and plump when applied. Gives a light glossy shine.
    • Its a tinted lip balm. Colour spreads smoothly and gives a nice subtle tint.
    • The tint is very light in one swipe. If I apply it 2-3 times, it feels a bit heavy. I like my lip balms to be pigmented.
    • Very decently priced at Rs. 99 for 4.5gms. I got it for Rs. 90.
    • SPF 15 helps to protect lips from sun.
    • Easily available at all cosmetic shops.
    • Comes in a twist up tube packaging. Easy to carry.
    • Very light and not at all waxy.
What I Did not like about Maybelline Lip Smooth and Care

    • Long list of chemicals as ingredients
    • Tint is very sheer and not pigmented.
    • Fragrance is very artificial and very strong. Feels like sweet molten plastic. (My insensitive nose)
I think i wont be buying this again. Will get Nivea Fruity Shine Lipbalm in Strawberry. Read Tanveer's review
